Yuk what? The picture in the article is the car that is being replaced in Europe. The article said to expect pics of the new car in the next few days and it will be shown off this fall at an autoshow.

 

Way to go Chevrolet. You've created another bland, flavorless, ho-hum sedan that will blend into the backgound unnoticed. If the North American sister car to this looks anything similar, Chevrolet is only going to continue to lose market share to the imports.

Body lines look like a Ford Contour.

Have they learned nothing from the success of HHR? People have plenty of choices for boring plain vanilla sedans and coupes. Give the people something with style and features, pack in value for the money, and you have something that will compete.

I think I missed the part in the article where is said this replaces the HHR.

 

Change the title as the architecture is only changing and mentions nothing about if or what or when the HHR will be or look like.

Oh yah, and like the Cobalt stands out or anything as it is now.

 

What the hell is that how does that replace the HHR. It says it underpins it what does that mean??

 

It doesn't say that, it mentions in the beginning in bold that it will replace the Cobalt. So that doesn't mean they won't still have something with the HHR's functionality built on the same platform. I think the Cruze looks worse than the current Cobalt. The Cobalt isn't anything amazing, but they made the front end look worse.
