Anyone know what this option is?

 

OnStar microphone, sunroof controls and the waterfall light....(aka "mood" light).

 

It's the On-Star Mic, along with the sunroof controls.

When you bought your 07 did it come with the 1 yr safe and sound pkg? The 08's came with the 1 yrs deal and you press the blue onstar button and then an Advisor answers. Told them I just got the car and wanted to know about the FREE 1 yr deal. they gave me a PIN so if I get locked out I call them and they will open the door. Also got 30min/ 60 days free ph calls and gave my email and now they send me a report Once a month of the diagnostics of the car. Got one yesterday it tell me systems checks how many miles are on it and the tire pressure of each tire. Online I then gave other info so that if it is stolen they can tell the police the plate number and where it is located.
Forgot to mention they also give you a phone number for your car.

 

I just completed the profile on mine too. Another kick ass feature of the OnStar.
I like getting the diagnostic report monthly as well

 

Not sure the need for the Dx report since your engine light would tell you if you had an issue. Love the phone sound though.
