Our last car , the Vibe we called the "put-put".
If we got a gold ( Sandstone ) HHR I would have gone with "Tut's Put" and had an Egytian theme!

But the deal was best on the red one ( Really maroon, c'mon Chevy, call it maroon, own up to it!), and a name did not come quickly..........

Well, then My Father in law says "Whoever designed that car died 40 years ago"
And he makes comments about it needing holes for guns to poke out. While I did not think this looked real Capone era, I guess it does evoke a bit of that flaired fender time.
So until a better name comes along, We'll call it "Mugsey"
It is kinda gangstery!

My wife is a big Winnie the Pooh fan. that disclaimer must be said before i post this....

In pooh, an elephant is called a hepalump. and until they see one in person they think fo them as mythical creatures, much like we think of unicorns. Well. while we were waiting for our HHR, I joked that it was a mythical being. All talk and none existed because it was taking so long. She then started calling it LUMPY after the the hephalump in the Pooh Hephalump movie.
When we got rear ended 4 days after buying the HHR, she said "Oh look lumpy is all lumpy now" The name stuck. Sigh.

Sorry to hear about your bad experience with "Big Daddy", it's just sad to hear things like this. It's odd how so many people with "Celebrity Status" turns up their nose at the very people who made them who they are.

I had my HHR for 3 months and got a lot of damage in a hailstorm. So, I've been thinking of calling her "Hellstorm".

I call mine 'Vicky'

(I don't know what happened. One minute I was filling in the owner information form at MyGMLink so I'd get notified of the recalls, and the next I was channeling Phil Hartman's character in "So I Married an Axe Murder." 'All of the park rangers here at Alcatraz were at one time guards, myself included. My name is John Johnson, but everybody here calls me Vicky.')
