I have a 2006 HHR with factory aluminum wheels and I’ve been having a problem with them loosing air literally for years. Anyone else have the same problem? If so, any fixes besides changing wheels?

I’ve fixed your duplicate posts, I have a set of 2006 2LT 17” aluminium wheels they leak around the bead area and when I get a chance , I’ll break the bead and clean the rim then re inflate the tire . I bought a tire machine from Amazon a year ago to replace TPMS sensors and it’s useful for any tire problems. There are a ton of YouTube videos about tire bead sealer and different processes to fix bead leaks

If you break it down use bead sealer when finishing up.

Here's what I use:

Though I have also had success with cleaning the aluminum rim edge COMPLETELY so there is no residual black rubber on the rim. It's hard to remove sometimes.

Might be wrong or improperly installed vale stems.

You want to find leaks using bubbles? Mix 10 parts water and 1 part simple green and spray away. Real slow small leaks like around the rim it will foam.
