Mine did that the other day it flashed evap something and then the engine light came on.1.- I had just picked up my HHR SS from the dealer after they installed the ZZP upper intercooler pipe. 2. my cold air box was broken by me, so I had small pipe to put my mass air sensor in then a small k&n filter which was way to close to the mass sensor and it was now in the hot engine bay on a day that was over a 100 outside. They checked the evap and could not find anything wrong they said. And they didn't charge me a penny to check it. I'm lucky and found a great dealership that is into moded cars :) It has not come back on since. Anyway you'll find this weird but I hit up all the junk yards for a oem cold air box. The cheapest quote I got was $288 and the most expensive quote was $478, can you believe that! Now here is the kicker I went to this site that sells brand new oem GM parts GM Parts Direct: Your direct source for Genuine GM Parts And paid a $179 for a brand new box with everything I needed, :) man you really need to shop around, These junk yards are crooks!!!
