Who's HHR has the most Miles
weve had other chev 2.2 with over 200000 on them .Guy at junk yard my son in law knows has seen the 2.2 motor over 300000 on them.thats why im buying my daughters 2007 hhr, just hope its decent on gas .We do own a 2007 chev cobalt ,gets 27-36 miles a gallon
My first post here I think...I just turned over 150k today. I've done front brakes three or four times, rotors, calipers....end links once....trans service at 140k, plugs at 100k. Control arm bushings somewhere past 100k.
My only real issue with this car is the front end seems to be poorly fitted or designed or something. Right now, once again, I have the dreaded front end clunk and bumping. Looks like end links again and the left sway bar bushing is worn out.
I change the oil basically when the indicator says to. Which for me is around 7500-10000 miles. I do about 50/50 hi'ghway and city. I use it for work every day, and it's my personal car.
It's an 07 2.4 auto. Overall I can't complain I guess. Handy car especially for me to use for work. I have seen as high as 37 mpg going East toward Raleigh Durham area of NC which I do frequently. But I'm generally pretty solid around 31-31 highway and 24ish in the city.
