Why No HHR Pickup Truck

I was thinking it would have been cool if GM would have made the HHR into a 2 seater pick-up like the old S-10.

The cars suspension would have to be negotiated, as well as the aerodynamics.. just buy an SSR.

I believe an SSR is quite a bit larger.

At one time GM had a new version of a El Camino like vehicle that was suppose to be made on the G8 platform? I think it used the same power train as the ponitac G8 GT rwd/V8 configuration? Well I guess when Pontiac went so did the the truck

I believe the El Camino met its demise before Pontiac. But here's a pic of the concept...........
