You need to post this in our Marketplace, for better visibility and response

Is there some reason that can't be popped out then painted?
No such thing as manual windows on HHR.

Compound curves sharp creases, gouges , deep scratches, it should buff out! Easier to replace the door!

I don’t know if I have the right .. all the same, I’m not an expert on the American used spare parts market, but:
as for me - the most experienced donbrew is right.
The damage is not critical, although the stiffener is damaged. Sharp folds and hoods ("bloating") of the metal are not visible in the photo. On my vehicle it was, only on the sidewall next to the door. Not the coolest tinsmith straightened it out without difficulty, and there was almost no putty.
The problem may be the frame of the door in the sense of ease of access to the place of damage from the inside - here I am not very strong, I have never seen this door without upholstery.
Either way, the guy should do some research on what's cheaper: repair/paint or a used part.
However ... he has already done this - he is looking for an orange door, which means that repairs in his country are still more expensive.

well, yes..
much better
but you still need to paint
it seems that a smooth dent on the rear sidewall cannot be ignored either
