Here is another bias story about the American car industry.

They fail to list many of the cars that do as well or better than many imports.

The HHR was just the token mention here.

I just made a round trip between Atlanta and Charlotte, NC.
The HHR got 37 mpg at a steady 60 mph with 93 octane gas.
This is strunning to me.
It gets 23 mpg in the suburbs.

They only rated vehicles with automatic transmissions. The Cobalt and G5 would have made the list if they'd bothered to consider the XFE 5-speed models. No one at Forbes drives a stick, so that's why the Big Three got the good ol' media shaft again.
