Was that you I saw?

Hi All,

Last weekend I had to make a trip from Georgia to Minnesota. I left early Thursday morning and returned Saturday afternoon. I went I-75 to I-24 to I-57 to I-74 to I-39 to I-90 to I-94, I think that’s right. Now normally I don’t see too many HHR’s on this trip but this time I saw a bunch. Not too many in GA and TN, but from KY to MN I saw plenty of different colors and types. Some modded, and some just plain old grocery getters. I think IL had the most, followed by WI. Some were friendly and some just had someplace to go. But, it was pretty neat to see so many different HHR’s going down the road, for a change. I was going to try and keep a running total, but I had a book-on-CD going and I lost count around 40. I don’t know, maybe I saw some of you! If I did, next time wave back!

See ya'
Pat

Funny you say that...I tend to wave at other HHRs..most of time I get a wtf look lol ...I know when my wife had a Wrangler that was the "neat" thing to do....also when riding my motorcycle the 'wave" is a thing to do...maybe it hasn't caught on with the HHR

So far with the number of HHRs I've seen around here, only two have made an effort to wave/point to us. Both of those were women.

The only waving I usually see is people telling me I'm number one.

Are you sure you're seeing the correct finger?

Thats another thing I like about our HHRs, when we first bought ours there was only two others in town and we would always wave when we saw another one, now I can't count how many there are, well probably 8 and they all look very stock, except for one white lowered one, but now they don't seem to wave anymore, its like the newness wore off and it is just their car now no big deal. I still wave, what have you all noticed on this subject, less and less people noticing and waving or are they still driving with their eyes open where your at?

I've been seeing more of them too. I even saw one on a (gasp) used car lot at a Dodge dealer. It was the Daytona blue with a billet grille.
