My first real chickmobile. My first mod was the HHR windshield decal I bought from SoCal. Also first time I've ever debadged my vehicle.

Took me a while to think and find a first w the HHR since i am 53 yrs old and been involved w cars since i was 14. i pretty much have been modding and rebuilding since high school. i have done stereos but nothing like what i did to mine so that was close to a first.

So my 1st is that i won my first car show ever w the HHR and since then won 7 more and 2 nd places. i also am a fast learner and will not enter participant judged contests anymore. too many good ole boys voting for their own friends.

there is a way to do participant judging where you only vote for so many classes and you cant judge your own class.

C.A.R.S. om this area does this.

My HHR firsts...

First new car to come with all of the options we wanted.

My first car to ever have a decal placed on it, "midtnhhr.net"

My first car that I did not feel the need to debadge it...

First car that ever prompted me to form, join, create a car club...

I just love my wife's HHR, I get custody on the weekends, ya know...
(Gasing, washing, waxing, detailing, primary driver, etc)

I've owned a lot of new cars in my life, but the HHR was:

The first new car that made me want to start a whole business based on it.

We started with the "Stubby' antenna...and it has grown substantially in the past 9-months. We are still the only retailer specializing in just the HHR - that's all we do. It limits you in certain ways, but the plus side is that we spend lots of time working on the cars, and get to know what they are capable of. Being HHR specific also allows me the time to develop new products with various manufacturers.

More "Firsts"

You guys are a part of a whole new culture: the "HHR Owner."

Think of it; an "HHR Owner's Group" or "HHR Web Forum" never existed before!

Everyone here is paving new ground....

Plus - it's a GREAT vehicle!!!

Here's some of my 1st's:

First brand new car that I am listed as only owner.

First car over $2,000 that I didn't have to finance.

First car I have ever had modified, except wheels & tires and head units.

First car forum I ever joined and actively participated in (excluding NASCAR forums)

First car I have ever really loved driving and showing to others...including total strangers.

First car I bought since the passing of both my parents. They would love this car and I'm sure they are beaming ear to ear from above.

I'm sure there are many other firsts that I haven't thought of yet and more that will come the longer I own it.
