The RPD does a lot more than just boost, I just with I could monitor everything I want with it at once.....boost, coolant, AIT, a/f, voltage. Oil pressure and temp would also be really nice, but oh well. I may have to get a few Aeroforce gauges and sending units. As a side note, the car will NOT start if the RPD is unplugged.

I'm with you there. The RPD has several other functions, but IMHO it doesn't look very good on top of the dash. Plus, I'd rather have the storage space.

If a Rat Hole to throw your gum wrappers in is more important than all of the important performance info. provided by the RPD then yes, you made the right choice.

The stack dash is damn near worthless due to it's size, atleast the RPD is easier to read, and will let you monitor a few things at once. As a side note, I would have liked the ambient air tempurature with the compass on my mirror like it is in my Avalance, or even on the same screen as the AIT, but oh well.

I'd personally rather have a gauge that doesn't look kluged-in, and because this is my DD, I would prefer to have some space to keep stuff. If I want all that info, I can pick up a Dash Hawk and log it. It's not like you can actually read it while you're doing any sort of hard driving anyway.

I will be picking up my 2008 HHR SS this Friday. It has 22,000 miles, onstar, auto, air and pretty much everything except the sunroof. It is in very good condition and it was originally listed for $16,900 at a Honda Dealership believe it or not I just got it for $14,200. It has the remainder of the GM 3/36 bumper to bumper and the 5/100,000 mile warranty. I did a car fax and other checks, it was fine. It was a one owner car who the owner tradeded in for a Honda van,(his loss is my gain) I have been looking for a while now and this is by far the best deal out there. I now will have enough left over to put the stage 1 kit in. My dealer has put one in others before so it shouldn't be a problem. Can't wait.

Yeah, I actually wanted the Orange but my daughter really liked the silver, which swung my decision. Plus buying used ya take what you get. For the price I paid I'm really happy with the silver, I'll take the rest of the silver and put it in my pocket for future toys for the HHR.
