Well i just got a call from a local dealer about my 09 SS
Tell's me at least four more weeks till they come off restraints even without the display !
This sucks !

If your waiting on a 5sp w/RPD the new build date is March 9th, fell lucky I've been waiting for my Red panel since the end of June.

Yeah its a 5 speed with no RPD !
Are the transmissions blowing up ?

 

Part of the problem is they desided to keep the plant closed an additional 2 weeks until the 9th of Feb, I can only speculate since your not getting the RPD that it has to do with the supplier, let's hope there isn't a problem with the trans

 

Is the constraint only on the 5-speeds or are the autos affected too? I still don't have any build date info on my auto yet.

 

I do have the RPD option, a couple of others have already cancelled their orders. Haven't seen anything from Aquaman to see if he's still in, so you're not the only Rainman. As of a couple days ago, my date right is Feb 23rd. The dealer is trying to find out if it is supplier or production based delay.

I haven't seen any tranny problems posted here, even with staged kits installed so not sure where that's coming from

 

I believe aqua also opted out if I'm not mistaken, when I found this site I think there were at least 5 panels with the 5sp, RPD options on order, is yours a panel?
If anyone else out there is waiting on a panel let us know.

 

Nope, it does not even have the quarter panel - too much concern about being able to see around me. People around here tend not to know how to drive too well. Would like to have it as I normally don't carry too many people with me and the weight savings would have been great.

My options were the Brembo/LSD, RPD, Sunroof and roof rack. I'll probably have the stereo replaced in the first week so kept that stock. Saw you have been waiting since June, I've been waiting since August.

I thought I read somewhere this is when the VIN is created as well, so looks like good news (I have the RPD option)!!!
