I guess the extra high CAD cost is so they can order ebony/gray and LSD, eh?

That is really, really weird.

I have a hard time believing they would make the ebony/gray + perf driver's seat only available in Canada. That just makes no sense...

The Canadian market is so small, especially with a niche vehicle like the SS... why offer us something the US can't get??? Very odd...

I think that it is a typo in the US order information / software and that it is available. Somebody should try (hard) to order it!

I took a picture (with my crappy cell phone camera) of an ebony interior with matching standard seats and added them to the example in the top post.

Hey folks, does the HHR SS have the 3M protective film on the front of the rear fenders similar to the other 08 models?

I dont think it does at least mine doesn't.....I wish they would have put that film on the side skirts because they stick out and when your getting out your legs rub up against them and scratch them....

I believe all of the Chevy's have this option. I was able to set the stereo to do this on my 99 S10 and, of course, have my LT2 set to do this too. I have mine set to the "high" (more sensitive to the outside noise) and will increase and decrease as needed. Pretty cool.

I forget what it's called...
