Not sure but I would think they are the same. The different models still share the same Delta platform. Shocks still mount in the same place on all models.

But wouldn't the dampening be different for FE5?

Probably, yes. Since the original spec shocks are no longer available, like most aftermarket suspension items, they seldom are the same as OEM.

FE3 (2LT) and FE5 (SS) shocks were both Sachs, but different part numbers. Both very good, both monotubes (the design used in performance shocks, not as smooth as standard shocks but can work harder. Google it if you like.)

Pretty sure these pics were an OEM takeoff from my SS. Sachs 15938031. I found a pair at some new to me parts place a few years back, might still be available.
