2008 SS Brake Dust

i have about 4000 miles on mine and the rotors have a wear lip of about an 1/8th of an inch is anyone else having this problem

will have to check mine, although I think that they are ok....

BTW, your sig states you have LSD with the auto, is this an aftermarket unit???

Why do you think you have the LSD? The A4 doesn't have a factory available LSD.

the dealer told me. i didnt get a window sticker with the car to know all the options but when i put it in compition mode it will spin both.

This was at 2400 miles. 90% highway.
GM doesn't know brakes. Never did.

I have just about 350miles on my SS now and have washed it several times. Each time the brake dust seems to get worse. I will be getting some low dust pads at my 1st brake service.

The dealer is wrong, the A4 does not have an available LSD.

This is typical of most decent brake pads. The Raybestos Ceramic's dust worse than this! Some ceramics dust less, but it's a trade off for stopping capability.

OK, I just bought this nifty-neeto wheel brush from Autozone, and I'm off to give it a try. Dust I can clean. The dreaded warped rotors, (Like my wife's GMC has repeatedly) will not please me.
