looking for a good replacement drive axle for my SS Driver side. GM part GM 20778307 but no longer available. dont want CCP parts in my car or over the counter REMAN autzozone/oreilly garbage. Car is ZZP tuned and i need good quality. The one on Rock auto is what i'm looking at. Any other QUALITY alternatives out there? Thank you so much!

X2 the ZZP product is good.

 

ZZP is sold out.. i did find a LNF stage on axle at OTTP and ordered it. Anybody use their products? is cobalt the same as HHR F35?

yep.. i'll withhold judgment till it comes. they shipped it today. If its the real deal I'm going to order one for the other side. I do believe they are the same.

The 5 speed SS has a left axle (shorter 23.6 inches) and different right axle (longer 37.3 inches )
the lengths are approximate compressed measurements

The SS 5 speed axles are indeed the same for left and right side. I just had mine off on both sides recently.

The right side has an intermediate shaft from the trans output to the axle shaft, which allows the same length axle shaft for both sides.
