Hmmm. so even with the auto it bumps up the power to 290? I wonder if the automatic's computer will dumb the power down just like it does on the stocker?

Nope it does not "dumb the power down". You get the same power as the manual trans.

Bill, I am curious as to why the auto SS comes with less power than the manual SS. If the upgrade on the auto brings up the power and the warranty is retained, then the auto must be able to handle the power, so then why the reduction on stock?
