Mine is behind also but I thought I read somewhere that the cross rails could not be used w/ a sun roof. But hey I am probably wrong. I dont think I will ever use mine. It is a daily driver now, but hopefully in a couple years it can be a toy only.

The roof rack have nothing to do with a Sun Rood cross rails or not.

If you carry a surf board, kyak or some other long object it may cut down on you light but will not be an issue.

or the sun roof migh hit it when just tilted up. Come to think about it, I a pretty sure that is what I read

Generally the roof does not pop up high enough to make contact. THe cross bars sit higher.

I for one do not intent to carry anything up there anyway. The roof rails on mine were there when I bought it and I with they were not added.

Had a friend with a Nissan SUC that has a caged basket on the front of the rack. To open the roof you had to get out and remove the basket each time. Load or no load. That was some smart thinking!

The plan is to tax everyone do that we all can afford Aveo's. Nothing more nothing less. Well I guess there is nothing less.
