Question Adding amp and subwoofer to my SS, help.

Been looking around the net to see if it is possible to add a 2nd amp and subwoofer to my SS using the existing wiring that is already in mine (using splitters etc). Mine has the Pioneer subwoofer and amp already in the rear side panel. Just curious if there is a way to either use those existing wires and either add my additional amp and subwoofer to it or just disconnect the stock stuff and hook it up to my own. I am trying not to have to run a new power wire and RCA cable from the head unit etc if possible. Anyone done this or have any links or info?

You can use the wires from the amp in the rear. Both audio and remote turnon. I got main power from the battery and mounted the amp in the tray. Check out the audio section and there are write ups and diagrams.

Stock Sub amp wires.

Pins 1 and 3 - Brown (BN) and Brown and White (BN-WH) - These are the Left rear amp inputs to the stock amp, they are taped together. We will tap them so they will feed the Left input side of your amp.
Pins 2 and 4 - Tan (TN) and Dark Blue (D-BU) - These are the Right rear amp inputs to the stock amp. They are taped together. We will tap them so they will feed the Right input side of your amp.
Pin 8 - Pink (PK) - This is the radio on signal. This goes to the "remote on" input for you amp. This is what turns your amp on when the radio is turned on, and keeps you amp from running when the radio and car is turned off.
