New car looks good and you paid your dues so to speak with having the SS for 5 years and you're entitled to buy whatever it is that you choose to buy.

However, I can't put my finger on why, but when I'm on the road and see some really nice looking and appealing bodies styles and then see the badges that say Kia or Hyundai, I get kind of a disappointed feeling.

Good luck with the new car.

Thanks y'all.

JC, I'm not a huge fan of the Hyundai logo from an aesthetics point of view, I think it looks odd and off balance, and I don't like chrome. Might replace with this:

I never shaved the HHR letters off the back of my SS because I didn't want it to seem like I was "ashamed" of the HHR part of it heh.

Nice car man. If you have no need a wagon I don't blame you. Your new toy is nothing to scoff or be ashamed about. Hyundai has come along way in the last couple of years. Congrats

Thanks all.

Not gonna lie, RWD is fuuuuun. It's the first RWD car I've owned, and I've already forgotten what torque steer feels like.

My SS is on the used lot at Southpoint Hyundai here in Austin if anyone's looking. They've already dropped the price once. Not trying to provide free ad space for the dealership so I won't link, but the listing is available on their website, even though the info's not right (they don't list any of my aftermarket add ons, including the sway bar, wheels and GMPP turbo upgrade).

Good luck with the new car. I agree with the comment someone else made that you paid your dues after owning the HHR SS for 5 years so you earned the opportunity to buy whatever you like. Remember, many folks here are big Chevy fans so they would have liked that you stayed in the Chevy family.

I'm currently working with a dealer on ordering a 2014 Camaro 1LE. The reason for my choice was that my HHR SS was one of the most reliable cars I have ever owned, I wanted rear wheel drive, 6 speed manual, and a car that is as close to track ready as you can get out of a showroom. Also the car has so many aftermarket parts that I look forward to personalizing mine.

I've owned my HHR SS for 5 years and will be retaining it for commuting purposes.

best of luck!
