Awesome! An auto should add about $1000, give or take. With a manual, this is going to be a lot cheaper than I was guessing months ago.

You must be the first, at least on here!
The price is reasonable, is that the MSRP?
Congrats and yes, please post pics when it arrives.
Maybe Chevy will be updating the SS web site soon...
Oh and how about scanning the invoice so we can see it? Hope I'm not asking too much...

Yes, that is MSRP, but my buddy owns the chevy dealer I am buying it from so he usually gives me a good deal.

However, funny thing, I left to go visit a customer this morning after getting this news and what went wizzzzing by me in the opposite lane? Yep, a Red chevy SS. I thought how can this be? After looking at the plates i understood. It was a Michigan MFG plate. I live about 10 miles or less from the GM Proving Grounds in Mesa/Queen Creek AZ.

Just finalized my order

Dealers now have option prices. Ordered Victory Red HHR SS with AT, sun roof, standard audio, limited slip differential and side curtain airbags. MSRP $25,140 + shipping (about $700). Very few options available as expected.
