It was still in "break in mode" boost limited to 10 lbs, but still fun, I forgot to put it into competitve mode until the last mile of the trip, it makes a big diff...

Not even the first to rub it into our noses. Cool deal though. This is the first I have heard of a breakin period and the boost limitation. Can you elaborate on that?

 

and the competition mode how do you put it in that mode?

 

well, I am assuming that's what it is, the LSJ cobalts and ion's limited boost until 500 miles were put on it. You put competitive mode on by hitting the Traction control button twice. once does TCS off, twice is competitive mode, 3 times turns the whole system off

congrats on the test drive. wish I could go take one. my closest dealer has no clue when they're getting them in. Not like I'm that far from the HHR factory, I'm in San Diego Co.!!!

 

I would say you didn't talk to the right person. Look @ the chevy site, and locate one, then call the one w/ the most arriving, they will know an approx. date.
