I'm looking at buying an '08 HHR SS. It's blue flash with an ebony interior. A few questions: did they offer leather seats? Heated seats? I've noticed very few blue flash cars, is that because not many people liked the color or were there problems with it? Is it easy to match if it has to be repaired?
My wife loves the color...and it will be her's.

 

They only had half leather seats, just stripes of leather on the SS. Heated seats are a option. Blue Flash is a rare color and it costed more from the dealer. Hope this helps.

 

BFM is a single stage paint code. I was suprised that it was when I had to get the rear hatch repaired. (got backed into) Paint work looks like it never happened and is a perfect match. Nice to see that someone else want's a 08 SS with an ebony interior. Is the one you are looking at a manual or an Automatic trans?

 

I'm sure I'll be corrected if I'm wrong, but the SS did NOT have a heated seat option, only 1LT and 2Lt's that have full leather.

 

Oh. I thought that was a option for the SS. Two mistakes today. Sorry Airbrushguy.

 

bluhotrod has a BFM SS, and Ive seen it in person. its the sharpest paint color GM has IMO

 

yea no heated seat option for SS's... the only options were color and performane (?) seats in '08/'09

my first SS was bfm... still have yet to see another. if my memory serves me right, in '09 there were only like 149 bfm SS's made. it was a $300 or so option.

 

I reckon a BFM half panel would be pretty rare then?

 

They only made 147 aqua blue ones too. Make sure that the one you are looking at is not Sunflowerhippies old car, last I heard it was floating around in those parts. They could never get it right and bought it back from her, you dont want that bf one.

Good point SS... maybe Sunflower will chime in, i believe she knew the where abouts of her former BFM... and it was an '08
