boost gauge ?

I just bought a 2009 ss last night, & it has the reconfig. display that I really don't want. I much prefer the analog boost gauge on the a pillar. is there any way I can purchase from the dealer & install the boost gauge to supplement the other display. would the necasary wiring be there behind the a-pillar trim piece?

Part number for trim panel with gauge is 25799244. List is 255 but GM Parts Direct has it for 151.

I can't see why you couldn't have both. I know I would like to have both. But I really don't know. I'm still trying to find out if I can add the GM RPD to an my 08.

Question

thanks for the part #!! i'm assuming the a pillar only comes in 1 color?
does anyone know if I pull off the a-pillar trim piece, will the wiring be there, will this be a plug & play?

Perhaps an aeroforce scan gauge might be the answer. Just a thought. BTW I don't know if the wiring will be there.

You could just order the pillar if possible and then install an aeroforce inceptor gauge which fits perfectly. The wiring already comes with the gauge and is easy to route and connect.

Was the 41.38 for the pillar trim piece? I was only able to find it with the boost gauge. If it was what was the part # you used? I want to get the aeroforce but didn't feel like paying 151 for the trim + gauge.
