I blacked out both front and back Bowties and all three SS badges with Flaming Decals vinyl last weekend. Looks much better on Victory Red than the white and gold I think. Will post pics of them sometime soon once I get time and get her all cleaned up!

Hurry up and get your pics on line...I'm trying to decide red or black. :-) I also have 08 Victory Red HHR SS, 2.0L Turbocharged, 5spd. Already in the shop with a "Service Air Bag" light on with only 700 miles. At first I thought it was talking about my wife. LOL.

Dunno why, but it seems like the rear tie looks better with the lil bit of gold on the perimeter than the front in my case.
Either way, if i stay with the vinyl overlays or paint the bowties,i'd still be stuck with either the paint getting "sandblasted" over time, or the vinyl wearing out/coming off.so i'll prob stay with the vinyl ,then paint them when the time comes.

I don't mean to steal this thread but, Vinyl looks like....well vinyl. It is easy, just paint them, they look better. That is just my opinion. Todd(Uma)

Part number?

Anyone have the part number to the bow tie(s)?
If you do, please post. Thanks!
