Is the Brembo Option for Real

When I ordered my SS, I requested every performance option available (LSD, 5-speed, etc.) that the GM system showed. Now all this info regarding Brembo packages are sprouting up, and actual pics in the Jalopnik reports of Brembos. If Brembos are a truly available option and I didn't get it, I'm gonna be ticked

Anyone want my pre-ordered HHR????? Zero markup

I'd be too! If it in fact turns out to be available now, have your dealer order the one you really want & put the other in stock!

ya, it's pretty crappy that the information wasn't out there earlier. I'd be really mad too.

I thought I read somewhere that the Brembo brakes come with the LSD. I could be wrong though.

I thought that I read in one of the reviews (I've read quite a few so I can't easily remember which one) that a brembo upgrade will be available but not initially, I think it's supposed to be one of those mid-production add ons. Might be a couple months before it can actually be ordered as an option.

Brembo

Every article I've read makes it sound like they will be coming out later next year.

Seeing as I don't really want to wait until "later next year" to get Brembos, I wonder how much it would cost to just buy them separately after I already get my SS. Anyone know if the Brembo package is just brakes and calipers or all new rotors too?

The Brembo is real but not until the spring but you can always go back later and get it installed as a option...and 2 of all there is a performance drivers seat thats $95.00 to have installed. the base price for the model is $22,995.00 got that straight from the horses mouth at GM Brian Brown... he's emailing me options list and price list and pics of the 1 he has been driving tonight so he says....we'll see but thats something new the performance seat for the driver...Mr. Brown is calling Mexico to where the vehicle is being built and having the seat put in for me...I'll keep all updated

Did you notice in the one test drive, the Jalopnik I think, here he said that the optional sport drivers seat is narrower then standard SS seat which is the same size as all other models. I was going to order the sport seat but being of big butt I don’t think I would fit. Hope you got a small butt.
