CanEHdn 09 SS anyone?
have seen an ss in milton and test drove one in mississauga. they are easily had. im waiting for a panel. i would bet they are waiting for other dealers to get thier early order stock and see if your order becomes available. if not they will put the order through. its a ten year relationship, i dont mid a few month delay.
plus sounds like they are working out mechanical issues.

I haven't heard of the brake problem being reported on the Cobalt Forum. Not sure what the difference would be?

Yep, mines a 5-speed as well - but with the seriousness of the brake issue I'm wagering that the beaurocrats (Government) just issued a blanket 'No Import' on the vehicle not differentiating based on the type of transmission. Makes regulation of it pretty simple and I would suspect fairly standard practice - i.e. black ball the vehicle, not specific vehices with specific options.
Blows a hole in that theory - I'm out of ideas
Oddly enough however if you do a search for new car inventory at any GM Dealership (including Milton) they don't even provide the option to search for an 2009 SS - only models they list in the drop down menu is the Aveo and the Cobalt. Like it doesn't even exist in Canada yet.

I scheduled a meeting with my Dealer to pull my order and guess what?
They now tell me I have a build date of Oct 6th. If it is true it is great news but the timing is a little convenient. Anyone else in Canada getting similiar news? Please, please.
