does anyone know how to pull up the codes in the ss??? is there a read out smewhere on the dash???

 

Not that I am aware of. My Cadillac had that, but I don't think the HHR can do that.

You'll have to find someone with a code reader, or take it to Auto Zone or someplace like that...

 

I think if you call onstar they can tell you what they are.

 

Do all HHR's have Onstar? But yes we just call Onstar when we get a light (2200 miles on the car and the light has come on 4 times so far, "clutch position sensor" each time).

 

All '08s come with the OnStar hardware and 1 year of service.

Ya I saw that, but my dealer insists he already flashed the ECM (on June 1 when I had it in for this problem the first time) but the TSB says June 12 so this seems impossible, maybe I'll call and raise some hell tomorrow and insist on a fresh reflash with the up to date program.
