Question coolant jug

last night i went out to run an errand, & noticed the temp gauge hit 194 when at a stop light. ( it was 15 degrees out), but once i started driving it dropped to 183. i checked the coolant level in the jug, & it's empty. i couldn't find any marking on the jug to indicate the full level. no sloshing noise in the heater core area yet, but i will buy some coolant & top it off & monitor the level. are they are markings on the jug that i missed?

Yes down on the side, You need a light to see them. I put a line on it with a marker to see it better after I found them.

Can anyone take a picture of the marking? I don't see any lines on mine!

I'm having the same situation in my SS. I'm just praying it's nothing serious!
