cost of 2009 SS model

Hello, everyone,

What are your opinions of a 2009 HHR SS, 52,000 miles, selling for $12,000? What should this car actually sell for?

Welcome to the site, in my opinion, depending on condition of the SS of course, $12,000 is lite! As time moves on , as SS’s get used up, by high mileage, body damage, accidents, a good condition low mileage SS could go for much more! Asking price always depends on recent sales, but in the case of a nice clean SS , you only get to ask high once !

Are you selling the SS or planning on buying an SS?

I see in your profile you list a ‘94 Camary as your current ride.

That car showed up on one of the Farcebook HHR groups. Part of me wants to go find it and post a link. The sensible part says, “Why bother.”

Is that the Victory Red that a member traded in for $8,000.00 and now the used car lot has it listed for $12,000.00?

Here comparison shopping

Word of advice based on actual first hand owner and mechanic. You would be better buying a 1 of Duesenburg at least you might stand a chance of finding parts for it!! Let me tell you if you break down be prepared for bad news, a rental car, and lots of bucks!!! NO PARTS MADE, and if anyone says their easy to find:1-they are stuck with one(like me) #, 2- trying to sell you one, #3-don't care if they just buy a new car on the spot when the SS breaks down. Find a CV shaft, ball joint almost anything I dare you LOL. Good luck

Some members just purchase LCA’s ( only way to get the ball joints) and the cv axle shafts problem has been addressed.

The manual transmission shifter cables seem to be available. The clutch pedal return spring is not. I have been searching high and low recently.

The spring isn't anything cosmic. Any spring company could make some if they had a sample.
