Production figures for the 2010 HHR's have not been published yet, as they are still on sale. I don't remember exactly where the production figures have been posted, but here's a post by Hyperv6.

It will take me some time to get them posted correctly but I will start a new thread to do do.

Just to make the SS panel guys happy there were 216 made. You may never get rich but you are for sure rare.

Regular 2009 HHR SS production was 2,346 not counting the 216 panels.

HHR production for 09 was 80,793 which is very good and only 20,000 the total for 2008. The slow market should acount for the loss in sales.

As sales go the HHR has been a big winner in a sea of losers at GM. Too bad they will not carry on the special styling in a updated form.

Thanks for the info, if I read right, 2,346 SS in production. Guess will have to wait and see how many of those were tint coat red. Its a pretty color, although we originally wanted silver or black.

That was the 24th of April. You can no longer order an SS.

I wanted to see if the discontinuance of the HHR SS impacts sales of used units. I periodically check AutoTrader to see where the used market sits. 6 months ago, the average count of HHR SS' in my area was consistently around 10 or 12'. Now it's down to 2. The pricing of used HHR SS' seems to sustain much better than other trim levels. I would attribute this to the fact that the rental companies do not flood the market with used SS' like they do with the other trims.

We as HHR SS owners should consider ourselves lucky. Like anything else, once something is gone, the public all of a sudden wants more of it.

Our dealer has 2 left in stock. A black one and a red one. The red is a nice maroon one, not the bright victory red. Never saw it in this color. It looks great in this color. Love to buy them both.

I haven't seen one in this color yet. I think this is going to be a rare SS color, just like sunburst orange metallic, as it will be a one year only color.

I would really like to see pics of an SS in this color.
