Angry dealer is trying to molest me!!!!

i rode my rr 1000 to the dealership to see how the car was coming around. well i dropped the car off sat. night and they now have had two full days to work on it. well day two has ended and they still don't know!!! the first excuse was they couldn't get the car to duplicate the problem,so while i was there i told them give me the keys and i took the shop foreman for a ride. 3minutes into the ride, bam no more boost. now this is the second time i have brought the car to them. both times with the CEL on.with codes P2178 and P0299. NOW THE TECHS ARE SAYING THEY HAVE NO CODES TO GO BY,WHEN I BROUGHT THEM THE DAMN CAR TWICE WITH CODES!!! they are also trying to say i must be hitting the rev. limiter, thus causing the problem. i'm so pissed right now because that's BS!!! i purchased TWO hhr ss within a two day period. mine had 200 miles on it with a CEL already on. keep in mind i signed for it on a sat. and it came from another dealer on monday. when i picked it up,it was 8:00 at night and i live about 25 miles from the dealer and i was tired and just wanted to take the car home. i told them they got till friday to have my car back to me and fixed!!! if not,i will start the paper work for the lemon law. sorry had to vent.

Painful - such a disappointment when a car fails right out of the box - a real pisser when the dealership is inept, incompetent and unresponsive

As I've stated previously, dealer service sucks!. It's appalling that dealer's have such worthless service departments and technicians. Too many parts swappers and not enough troubleshooters in the automotive field......

Trust me, I know exactly how you feel....been there, done that, got the T-shirt. The first year I owned my Z06, the dealer had it for 6 months. Swapping rental cars and dealing with the issue's wasn't a walk in the park.

is there another dealer you can take it to? When i was shopping around i checked out a dealer a half an hour from here, and i didn't end up getting a car from them since they didn't have the one i wanted on the lot, so i figured a trade would be easier to do with the one in town. They showed me the service area up there and were just all around, genuinely nice. So i know if i have major problems and the one here doesn't do it right, i'll head up there.

Mighty - I feel for you, and this makes me a little more nervous about buying an HHR SS. I hope this dealer comes through for you in a hurry.
