I'd second this. The intercooler's function is to help cool your intake air. It probably works OK if you just hop into a cold car. But if you drive for a while you'll get some heat soak, since there is no way to cool the air. Take 'er easy, and you'll probably be fine. Just don't get the idea of doing this long-term, OK?
