Well mine in Canada is about 1100 bucks retail plus about 2 hours labour. However I got a family discount so it was just over 800 Canadian.

In the states you can find it a lot cheaper. Its a GM product too so if it's installed by a dealer its covered under warranty.

So which Parkway were you speeding on? Sprain Brook? Taconic? Saw Mill? Bronx River? One of these days I need to get back to Westchester to drive my SS on those parkways. I did manage to drive on Bear Mountain Road last month when I went to visit my father in northern Westchester. What a blast!

Oh yes, I do love drivin' this Lil SS! It will be 1 year for us this Sat. when we first drove it home. I still love getting behind the wheel and I actually think of errands to run just to take it out of the garage! Especially after I have just washed/waxed it.

I wish I still drove it to work, that was the main reason I bought it. But I guess the company van-pool is more economical decision, and it slowed the miles down that were racking up on the SS.

Thanks Mike.

There's another thread now "if you were rich would you still have the HHR".

If I could have foreseen what some of my cars that I purchased new would be worth down the road and kept them, perhaps I might have been able to answer that other thread from the rich point of view. lol

I've had my "Kit" in for 2 1/2 mths. Can't stay out of the SS and can't stay off the throttle.

I usally love to drive mine but this week and me paranoid.

I made it though the winter in pretty fair shape and this week I have taken hits in the hood, windshield and grill on to seperate drives. One came over the concrete divider on interstate 76 with no on my side.

But I do like mine so much I even look forward to driving to work.

i love my ss it has the looks, speed and gas mileage, one day we forgot to go home, spent two days on the road and having a AA5 for privacy we folded down the seats and notice how much room there was for two people, well let say we broke in the ss that night, it's truely a multi purpose car now.
