Don't be a dumb A$$

Ok, so when you are in the midst of tearing your new SS apart, and you disconnect your battery, that is in the trunk, don't forget that the rear entry door requires the battery to be opened. So, now I am having to flop down the back seats and figure out a way to get into the back to put the battery cable on.

That would probably be me. I put a locking gas cap on my HHR and didn't get it on properly and it turned on the check engine light. I was given several suggestions and one of them was to disconnect the battery and let it sit for a while. Ok...fine, I can do that. So out I go, lift the hatch, put the back seats down, so I could put the cargo shelf and the stuff in the cargo area up towards the front seat. Grab my trusty little wrench to disconnect the battery, then closed the hatch like nobody's business.

Needless to say, as soon as the hatch closed, I was like...you idiot. Needless to say, after a few choice words, I removed all the stuff out thru the rear doors and set it on the grass. Then, I had to crawl thru the car to the back to hook up the battery cable again. Needless to say, my boyfriend got a big chuckle out of that one.

So...don't feel like the Lone Ranger...been there and done that too.

That's ok...I don't mind admitting I did something stupid like that. If I had not admitted to it, I'm sure someone else would have said it was me anyway. Just saved them the trouble.

Having read some of his previously posted threads I would guess he's working on upgrading his audio components.
