Driver seat

Does anyone else have issues with the driver seat causing terrible back pain on their SS?
I had to make a pad and drape it from the headrest just so I could drive the car.
I will eventually take it to a seat shop and have them take the back apart and redo it.
It is like the lumbar support was put in wrong.

First off,I have suffered from back pain for a long time before I got this car. When I first got the SS I had problems getting the seat adjusted right. Finally got it right except for the headrest which would'nt let me lean back enough to straighten out the spine. I turned the headrest around 180 degrees. This gives you a couple extra inches of space backwards for your head.I can now sit up straighter without my head seeming to lean forward. No back pain at all when driving. It seems to work for me.
Not sure about the lumbar issue. I keep mine about middle ways. Not as much support as my 98 Dodge truck lumbar. Good Luck.Back pain sucks!!

No problem with mine. I can drive 3 or 4 hours without stopping and am very comfortable.

I yanked the seats and replaced them with a set of Corbeaus. No problems now.

I would love to see a pic of those seats.

I end up getting a little bit of a cramp in the thighs, after several hours of driving. the seats arn't the best, but then again I don't have to worry about falling asleep on the interstate from being too comfy.

No problems here either. I have been on a few 7 hour road trips and the seats are great. G.B.
