I was just looking at a couple of SS's at the dealer, low and behold, there was a new red HHR SS with performance seats on both sides!! Black and red interior. There was a black SS next to it, with the standard seats(thought the perf was standard this year) in black with the light color inserts.

 

My dealer received three SS models in the last 2 weeks and all of them came with dual performance seats. They were made standard equipment for '09 and were probably part of the reason for the SS's base price increase this year.

Got my SS Nov 5th,, Ebony/Red,, Dual Performance Seats...

 

Got my 09 SS back in August, both SS's on the lot had standard seats, both were identical except 1 (the 1 I got) had a sunroof, the other didn't.

 

Got mine in april 08 with dual performance seats. Probably one of the first that way.

 

anyone have the part numbers for the Seat pad and cover for the performance passenger seat? They Should be different from the drivers part numbers.

 

How much better are the performance seats over the standards? Has anyone compared them to the Cobalt SS seats?

 

Not sure how that happened since they did not offically start installing them till Oct of 08

 

I love my performance seat over the passenger, as for the cobalt I dunno.
