Earnhardt edition HHR SS
People will slap decals and stickers on anything and claim it is a Special Edition. Normally on NASCAR Special Editions (like the Monte Carlo’s they had) you will find the individuals signature on the side of the vehicle and inside on a dash plate. I would ask the Dealer for a “Letter of Authenticity” from Dale Earnhardt Incorporated and signed by Teresa Earnhardt. If it is not an original, then the dealership or individual selling it can be sued for false advertising and/or misrepresentation.
First off the cars GM did with Earnhard names were done at GM. The intimidater and Earnhard edtions cars were in house cars and had no engine work.
The other limited cars the Earnhardt dealer did on the Lumina, Camaro and other cars were mostly done by GMMG out of Georgia. They are a specialty company that does convertions. All of there cars had their own tuning not GM tuning. they had special graphics and they also had special seat covers and gauges.
The GMMG cars also were much more expensive and often were made in very low numbers only sold at the Earnhardt dealer in Newton NC.
This car here has a couple of Eanhart dealer badges you can buy from the dealer or From Dale Earnhardt incoperated. I have 3 or 4 of them laying around here. They are like $3 appice. If this was a real Earnhardt edtition I could make mine one too in about 5 mins.
Also note all the dealer GMMG cars were black or black and silver accpet for 3 Red white and blue cars they did for the Olympic's. If I recall correctly.
The only red car done was the JR car and again that was a inhouse GM car that was done and sold at all dealers.
At best this guy may be able to prove this vehicle was sold at the Earnhardt dealer in Newton and that is about it. Note all their special cars also came with documentation.

I think it should not be allowed to be called a Earnhardt edition, maybe a replica car?
Some people like living a lie kinda like folks that put "SS" badges on a sedan.Oh well guess to each their own...

I guess they could call it a limited edition 1 of none made.
