Fair Price?

Hi all

Shopping for an SS - found a 2010, just about every option, red with 18000 miles, not a mark on it. Problem is, dealer is asking 22k for it. That seems awfully high and there are so few out there it's to find other vehicles to compare price. What would be a a reasonable price to offer for it? If it makes a difference it's in Cocoa Beach, Fl.

Thanks!

That is way too high! That is what I paid in '08 for a brand new one, with all the options available at the time.

18K seems bettter. You can get a good used one for 14-16K('08-9)

You can try the old, they stopped making them bit, parts are gonna be an issue(not) to see if they lower the price.

Offer them 16K

FWIW. The List price(off the sticker) on my 2010 SS 5spd is $27,870.
Does the car have any upgrades such as the GM turbo upgrade, swaybar, etc.
Bone stock, I would say 18-20k.

GM was offering big rebates though, $4-5K. I bought a brand new leftover '09 in April of '10 for $20K. $22K is way too high.....

I paid 15k for an 08' black auto with 17,000 miles. Not a scratch on it.

This was 5 weeks ago.

That's way to high but they do that so you can talk them down 20,000 and still make big profit. That's my 2 cents.

a modded car is actually worth less than a bone stock one
