The deal was awesome, it's exactly what I wanted and OMG the difference is crazy from the LT!

They're swapping my rims and Depo lights tomorrow and a few other things so I won't have it until tomorrow evening.

I CAN'T WAIT!!! I've wanted this since 2008!!

Now, I've gotta remind myself I can't afford the turbo upgrade right now! lol

I would trade my rims in a heartbeat for rims i liked better , And theres a lot of them out there .

 

The rims where his deal breaker. I've dealt with this manager on 5 cars and he's a good dude. He gave me over what my car is worth and charged me under what he could have gotten for the SS. His deal breaker was the rims. I wasn't giving up my after markets and General G-MAX tires and he wasn't doing the deal without either keeping my rims or the SS rims

With the lower stance, I think my black and silver rims are going to look sweet on the all black SS with my DEPO's in

 

I'm one of the old school guys, if I ever bought an SS, I mean SS anything, When I was looking for it I would want it with Low miles, and Everything thats supposed to be their Stock from the Factory in place and Nothing Missing.

I know ALOT of Chevy guys that feel the Same way. Old SS Wheels can be hard to locate for an older SS, so that Devalues it to most collectors.

Sorta like the old "All Numbers Match".

Put whatever wheels you want on your car and Enjoy them, but you Should SAVE those OEM SS wheels for trade in or for outright selling it later on. Even if you used the OEM's as your Winter Set, at least the SS will have them with it when the time comes.

I would Never buy one without the OEMs on it or at least Included in the Sale. Even if I Liked the aftermaket set.

 

You should have them do the upgrade and keep the wheels, especially if they are not scuffed, never know what you might put them on, besides they look great on the black ones, they prance when it rolls slow. Thats just my 2 $ worth, do what makes you happy, how about switch the tires?? them g-max are ten times better.

Yeah I wanted to keep both but the deal went the other way. I also understand the all oem stuff too. This was the way I was getting my SS affordable so I made the deal. I love the SS oem wheels but liked mine more and they have a sentimental value to me since they were a gift.
