Finally get to play with the SS

I got it last weekend, but worked 12 hour days all week so Saturday was SS day. Bought it from DjDrPhil, who is a detail freak too, so it was spotless as anticipated.
After driving it to town to get the temporary tags ,got it home and the fun began. With the help of a few cold ones I polished and buffed the drivers side and hood. Then applied the first step of Zaino. So it will be as smooth as the black panel.
Doe's any one have interest in buying my '87 Turbo T-bird? Only $4000. Cheap way to get a Turbo car. Not as fast as an HHR SS, But 71 k old lady driven miles and really rides good. Hate to sell it, but the SS took its garage space and hate to leave it outside.
Might get to polish more today! ...john

Aren't they fun little cars ? Gotta love that Victory Red.

Your new one sure is looking good.

You may want to consider adding a SS grill emblem. I did. It just seems to give the grill a little more character.

Awesome SS Panel, wish I could of found a red one when I was looking... but I love my Silver one. Hope to get another one soon, trouble is you have to act as soon as you find them, they don't last.

I like the SS on the grill. Funny how red hides things. I was just buffing the tailgate and noticed the beauty bar was pushed in! I'd walked around this thing 2 dozen times and never saw it. Just went back and looked at DjDrPhil's ad and sure enough it was caved in. How strange...john

Actually, my SS emblem came from my local dealer. It's the same as the one on the tailgate. $14.
Homemade bracket to mount it to the grill. $0.00.

George...
Do you have any pictures of the bracket you made to install you emblem. I got mine. I'm just looking for a good way to install it.
