Finally Gonna Get My SS

Well my time has come, SS is in and ill be picking it up tomorrow. Its a Black 5 speed. So excited! Will have pictures up either tomorrow or Saturday.

Any other SS's in Ontario yet? I know there are at least 30 of them with in 4000 km of North York (according to the vehicle locator in the dealership).

To let everyone know, there are 2 auto SS's at North York Chevrolet, one silver the other black. I would of taken the black one but I wanted a stick. Its loaded. Just FYI.

Congratulations!!!

I've been looking for one in Southern Ontario, but want a Silver one with the 5-spd. Seems that the Silver ones are few and far between. Other than that auto at North York, I haven't located any other Silver ones.

Probably gonna wait for the 09's though... if I can control myself that long!

Happy driving!

Well its home! Damn that car is fast, gonna wash it tomorrow and post some pictures (dealer didn't clean it worth crap). Its supposed to be sunny and 7c.

Funny thing is w/the no lift shift if you aren't high enough in the revs when you use it it really backfires!

Cpt. Sounds like you've decided not to go easy on it for a while!

Meh, if it breaks its under warranty. Ill be easier on it now that i got the psychoness of getting a new FAST car out of the system. Handles really well, 3rd seems like the perfect in town cruising gear (40-60). 2nd will bring it up to 100kph w/o problems.

The main benefit of the no lift shift is that the boost doesn't drop a hair when changing gears, its really noticeable as when you let off it takes a second for the turbo to spool back up.

Oh as for Canadian pricing MSRP for side airbags, LSD, Pref Driver Seat, Sun and sound is 33,150 Canadian.

EDIT: Some pictures after i cleaned it
