Waited too long to take the pics so the focus is not perfect, will post better pics later.....So far I have painted the bowties black, painted calipers red and rotars black, made the bowties on the centercaps black and put 5% tint over the stock tint on the far back side windows and back glass.....[IMG][/IMG]

hey..your HHR looks great. How the heck do you see at night backing up in the dark with extra window tint on the already darkened privacy glass? Do you just do a stevie wonder and throw it into reverse, hoping you dont smack anything? I understand its probably bright, sunny and hot in texas during the day...but man....i have been in some really dark pimped out vehicles and it just feels like being in a dark well at midnite. One thing i never liked is being in a car with all dark grey or black interior and darkly tinted windows...makes me nauseous..i need that nourishing , life giving light! other then that...your ride looks very mean and lean.

 

thanks, if i am in a lighted place i can just barely see out my rearview, but i just mainly use my side mirrors and just make sure i know whats behind me before i back up.

Looking good in black! I especially like the red calipers and pads. I have to get that done on mine for sure. It just really sets your wheels of nice!

 

Man these pics really make me want a SS i seriously giving it some thought for a 09 with the LSD, Brembo and the re configurable display options.

 

looks good! i did the same with my tint too, i love it. i did 5% on all the backs and the back doors too. i like the calipers as well. im still tyring to figure out what to do with the tacky gold bowties too. my ss is imperial blue, im thinking the black bowties would look ok on the blue. last night i removed the HHR letters form the back of mine, it looks good with out them. ill post a pic of it later.

 

Looks good, but it cracks me up how people will blur out their license plate number when maybe 500-1000 people a day see it when you are out on the road or parked.

Looks great! Can't make up my mind if the next car will be the HHR SS or the G8. Seeing your SS is making it hard to decide.
