See if he wants to add a pristine Premiere Edition to his collection. Only 4000 made. 1600 miles. I would even take $4999 over what I paid.

As the song says "Take the money and run". Hell, I remember having Jose Canseco's rookie baseball card and it being worth $69 and being stupid enough to hold on to it. Today - what's it worth. I absolutely cannot imagine the HHR SS being that collectable down the road. Fun to restore 10-15 years from now - you bet, but not a great investment.

I hypermonth....My HHR is the greenest machine on the planet with a low 90s MPM (Miles Per Month). My HHRs thumbprint has been nil for 16 months. But that changed last month.

But I will would lower my original offer to $4998 over my purchase price if that will make this deal go down easier.

That's it. I decided 3 months ago that with the energy costs, finance mess and a lame duck president that this would not be a good time to throw money around. If it doesn't sell (all new price $4992) then we'll see what the outlook is next year for some painting.

Red face

OK, So I called the guy who wanted my SS for 5G over what I paid.....He contacted the Chevy Dealership that I bought my car from (Champion Chevrolet) apparently I am the only one around here with an SS, so he found me driving the other day and only offered me the $5,000 extra for my TROUBLE aka my 11-month old son..... who was strapped in the back..... He has since found 2 in the ATL area.... He told me he is a "good ol boy" that likes to keep his money where he lives, and liked the idea of helping out a young couple with kids, which is why I bought the SS to begin with--so Daddy can look cool while bringing Junior to daycare.... As much as I could use the 5G, I dont want to deal with Chevy right now, Graduate School taking up too much time
