Is this a good deal?

Just got a coupon in the mail today from my dealer offering me my first oil/filter change with Mobil 1 for $58.98, or first change with conventional oil would be free.

I am going to stay with Mobil 1 and wondered if this is a good deal?

note: After the first change I will be doing all my own oil changes which I have done on all my cars for years.

Thats a ok deal at the stealership.

Most quick change places will try and ream you for closer to $70.00

Wallmart will be the cheapest full synthetic change.

I do my own for closer to $30-35.00 (Wallmart Mobil one in the jugs)

Thumbs up Do Your Own Mobil 1 Oil Change

I Agree with ColeTrickle,
It's OK "if you don't know what your doing"...

Do your own Mobil 1 oil change and Super-Tech oil filter (ST9018) from Wal-Mart for about 30bucks, and your next one will be free to you because the Stealer wants you to pay double the price...

I personally won't let anyone touch or change my car's oil, I'm Very Very Persnickety about my cars...

For full synthetic?

Thats an amazing price....Thats about what a standard (non coupon/special) oil change costs around here.

The oil and filter have to be close to $30.00 + disposal fee. there not making any money at that price:)

It would depend on how much driving you do and if you have the time to do it your self, I take mine to Shepard Chevrolet in Lake Bluff and I pay $42.00 for an Oil Change and rotate the trires and they even wash it for $42.00 I can't go wrong but then again I do not have time to do it my self as of this morning I have 80.450 miles on my HHr. I change my oil when the DIC tell me I am at 15%.

See you Saturday

Sure they are. They do them fast and they do a lot of vehicles.
