Got my 2008 HHR SS!!!!!!!!!!!!
What a great little truckster! The weather has not been great this weekend, but did get a change to take a few shots of the new ride:
Put on close to 200 miles this weekend, what a fun ride.

Thanks all . . . It's quite fun to drive. Even been getting the hang of DD'ing the 5 speed as well. Some of my 1st impressions:
Very peppy, shifter is nice and notchy so I know which gear I'm heading for. I see what people say about 3rd feels like it is going to pop out . . . you depress the clutch , put it in third and while releasing the clutch the shifter noticably pushes back into your hand.
Finding and getting into 5th is no problem.
The clutch is pretty light, although not like my Camaro SS.
The Performance Seat is nice & supportive. Although visited some friends with 2 Siberians . . . man that fur sticks to the upholstery . . . from clothes transfer!
The headliner is a bit close to my head being 6'-1", but no closer than it is in my STS.
The rear windows roll ALL the way down . . . no kiddy saftey halfway down BS.
I really like the radio and speaker quality.
The back seat is roomier than I expected. Even with the driver's seat where I'd put it, I can still sit behind it.
Fuel economy . . . 23.3 mpg in the first 200 miles . . . mostly around town.
Silly quirks: The floor mats are TINY especially the rear ones. The little ovoid rubber disks in the interior door handles, just flopping around. Cup holders not deep enough - cans of soda flop around.
Oh. . . and everyone scopes it out! Filling up at the station, and while at the liquor store picking up the evenings libations, some guy actually did the 306* walk around it.
That's it for now.
