got my rental car today 08 black hhr..

droped the car off for them to rip the tranny out. and got a 08 hhr lt2 i guess havent looked, and i got to say there is not that much i like about it! only the look which is still nothing like the ss.
dont like the big steering wheel, the window switches are in a bad spot, the steering is very unresponsive,i can go on here but dont want to get anyone mad on here

i got to give the hats off to the ss team for making the ss!
best car/suv ever!

dang i drove a SS and there isn't that much difference, thats almost why i wouldn't buy one. Cuz they didn't change it much at all, it basically the same thing given a few minor changes.

I liked the looks of the HHR when it came out, and it is a decent car for what most people need. But it just wasn't sporty enough for me, nor did it perform very well. The SS version is was sold me.

Ya know, they could have given you an Aveo as a rental...

I like the concept of the SS, but don't like all the plastic on the body and lack of chrome. I'm all about the chrome...Plus I would have had to wait another 5-6 months to get my HHR...

It's an HHR, that's all that matters!

@ngelita...saw a red and silver SS on PCH today....

So ... what are you saying about the rest of us non-SS owners? That we're somehow ... not ... quite ... right ... in loving our HHRs?
