HA! Finally saw another SS today!

Jeff, the dealership that i purchased my SS from had 5 back on march 31st. I got the only 5 speed, three others were black auto, and one blue auto. I would have a Blue SS if it would have been manual. Oh well.
There is atleast one other Black SS on the eastside. I Seen him rollin around south euclid/cleveland/east cleveland areas. I saw a red one the day after i bought mine on the highway, and another red one parked in a driveway in Euclid near the golf course. Other than that, nothin.

I've seen 4 ss's since i got mine in late may . 1 silver, 1 red, 1 black 1 drk -blue, and bet they were all auto's. I drive 60 to a 100 miles a day, nice to have a rare ride.

From what I have heard GM expects to build around 10,000 SS's in 09. Last year was not a full production year.
For the most part while the 08 is called a 08 it really was the first 09 HHR offered. It had all the updates for the starting 09 models. GM will add more as 09 moves on.
This is really a good marketing plan as the new models will be out dated befoe the year is even over. This helps keep demand up.

Still no sighting of another SS in my travels. Tho i do tend to see more non-SS's since i got mine (big surprise, this happens with anything i buy when i get it LOL)
Heck, i can honestly say i never saw another SS in a dealers lot either! Killed time early one morning the other day, walked the dealer lot i found mine at (tho i had it dealer traded to the dealer i used to work at yrs ago) and only saw ONE HHR and it was a '09 (and the orig. dealer on the sticker was in Kansas
, so it made a long trip to get to NW Indiana) and other than a used '07 , that was the only HHR sighting on the lot.

Saw one!
...on my way to work last night. Really attractive blue one, rode along for some time.
On the way home this morning I saw a black and a red HHR, both w/ dealer plates and grease pencil on the windows tooling south on I-55. They were LS models but the mini caravan of HHR's was kinda cool just the same.
