Has anyone traded in their SS?
Same car trade; SS for a SS. I'm simply kicking the random thought around. I can sell my auto on craigslist before I let a dealer rob me any further than necessary. I havent had too many issues with the hrr ss and still appreciate the value it offers.
A few dealers are selling manuals with a starting price at $16k with 20k miles.

The big issue is can you do this and either lower you payment or come out even. Just don't put your payments upside down for just a trade on trannys. The only variable would be a lot less miles or more options.
Also you need to consider the Manuals are usally less trade value. The Auto adds value since one it cost more and two anyone can drive it or buy it. That is more a factor anymore since less and less know how to use a clutch.
I would shop around as Manuals are very easy to find. That way you can make the best deal possible if you want to go for it.
ALso have a history done and make sure you are not buying someones problem they traded in. It would be sad to sell a perfectly good SS for one with issues.
Also make sure it has had the TSB updates.
Also really check out the clutch and shifter as some have had issues with them.
